We are seeking an engineering technician for our Engineering Lab to conduct testing of equipment, products and materials.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Conduct testing of equipment/component for conformance to NSF, ASTM, other standards.
Perform all corporate and program quality control procedures to product quality data meeting turn-around time commitments.
Assure adherence to all safety and health policies and procedures.
Prepare all records (data, notebooks, and instrument books) in a timely, thorough, and neat manner.
Enter data into LIMS
Assist in maintaining instruments and equipment in proper operating condition.
Maintain inventory of testing supplies.
Perform other duties as requested.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate’s degree in a technical area or equivalent technical experience.
One year experience in testing using standard or approved methods.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Good mechanical skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, i.e.: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Highly motivated in completing assignments correctly and on schedule.
Ability to work independently.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
BS degree in an engineering or scientific discipline.
Knowledgeable with laboratory QA/QC programs.
Understanding of and experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
Familiarity with applicable testing equipment.
