Caraco Pharmaceutical Laboratories, Ltd., a manufacturer of generic pharmaceuticals, located in the New Center area of Detroit has experienced phenomenal growth.

We need two candidates for our Quality Control Analytical Development department.

Seeking a talented Analytical Development Chemist who reviews technical documents, authors and reviews validation protocol, development reports, carries out validation experiments and prepares validation reports. Conducts analytical testing as required to support Formulation Development team. Develops analytical methods for assay, impurities, residual solvents and residual swab analysis. Maintains accurate records of all experimental work and produces development and validation report and documents.

Requires B.S. in Chemistry or related scientific degree with a minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in pharmaceutical field specific to analytical development. Requires hands on experience with HPLC, GC, and UV analysis. Good written and oral communication is essential in this position.
