Eastern Michigan University is accepting applications for an Accountant II-Financial Operations. This position is responsible for performing various accounting duties of a highly complex nature including, but not limited to, preparing financial statements and related analysis; balancing/ reconciling account transactions for assigned areas; initiating and/or reviewing journal entries to the proper accounts, performing year-end closing of accounts, and preparing audit schedules.

Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or closely related field is necessary; Two (2) years of professional accounting experience; and well-developed personal computer skills including spreadsheet software applications.
