Home remodeling firm in Ann Arbor, Michigan seeks a bookkeeper experienced with percentage of completion accounting. Specific requirements include:
Working knowledge of Quickbooks accounting system
- Open mail and enter bills into system
- Enter project budgets into system
- Enter labor hours into system and post to corresponding projects
- Keep the checkbook
- Review & reconcile bank statements
- Review and reconcile all credit card and credit accounts
- Prepare invoices
- Write checks
- Make bank deposits
- Keep checks in a secure area
- Keep the general ledger
- Send payroll info to payroll service
- Prepare job cost reports
- Track vacation time and other employee benefits
- Cash flow management and projections
- Prepare weekly reports- payables, receivables
- Prepare monthly reports- payroll, WIP reports
- Work with CPA firm to get monthly statements prepared
- Help with annual budgets and budget corrections
- Handle taxes and insurance
- Handle petty cash
- Keep company equipment records
- Handle mail and packages
- Keep office supplies up to date
- Maintain office files
- Keep work area neat and organized
- Develop written procedure manual for your work
- Answer phones as needed
- Be part of our team
- Greet visitors as needed
- Help with company marketing activities
