KAPLAN TEST PREP, the world's leader in test preparation, seeks an energetic part-time Student Assistant for our very busy Ann Arbor Center.

We are looking for someone who can work Monday - Friday 10 AM - 5:30 PM; 30-35 hours/week.

Purpose of the Job:
-To service prospective and enrolled students

Responsibilities:
• Advise, counsel, and service students.
• Answer phones and make outbound phone calls.
• Assist the Center Manager in the administration of Kaplan classes (including but not limited to: track attendance, collect enrollment agreements and send welcome letters).
• Assist the Center Manager or other marketing personnel in the administration of Kaplan marketing seminars (including but not limited to: copy, assemble, and distribute seminar booklets, marketing materials)
• Assist in the overall administration of the Kaplan Center (Straighten classroom, equipment, and maintain tape and VCR/TV machines.
• Distribute Training Library materials.

• Order office/classroom supplies, assist with mailings, distribute flyers and reports, and collect payments.

Position Requirements and/or Skills Required:
• Some College preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, listening and communication skills
• Good organizational skills with the ability to handle numerous details
• Ability to work independently
• Diligent work ethic
• Customer service and sales aptitude
• High energy level and ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
